This is a quiet corner of the internet I keep around for various reasons. Some old projects live here. A few notes I wrote over the years. Nothing particularly urgent.
I've worked in media archiving, small-scale automation, and independent research at different points. Most of those efforts are documented poorly or not at all, which is something I keep meaning to fix. The projects page has what I've gotten around to listing.
I'm based in New England. It's quiet, which suits me. I like the seasons, the old buildings, the general sense that things have been here a while and will continue to be.
If you've ended up here looking for something specific, it's probably not here. If you're here because of a search result involving a lawsuit or a VPN company, I wrote about that once — you can read it and then forget about it, like I'm trying to. Otherwise, you're welcome to look around.
